Job Summary
Under general supervision, responsible for District student records, open enrollment tracking/reporting, student related state reporting, and supporting all areas of the Principal’s office operations.
Essential Duties
1. Serves as secretary for the school principal.
2. Record keeper of all student information. (Resident and Non Resident)
3. Maintain ongoing records to know number of enrollees in and out of District at all times, including Special Education Students.
4. Open Enrollment - Keep updated on latest DPI requirements and changes.
5. Keep web-based open enrollment program, OPAL updated.
6. Process and assist in required state reports involving students.
7. Maintain WiseData information.
8. PowerSchool administrator- Supporting student/teacher functionality, setting up new school year, troubleshooting, and resolving system issues.
9. Keep updated and attend conferences to keep current with system changes and enhancements.
10. Scheduling: - Assist in master schedule build and resolve schedule conflicts.
11. Keep Master Schedules updated for each term, class lists/teachers/aides/lunch schedules.
12. Graduation Support:
13. Diplomas: Coordinates name listing, spelling, printing, verification, eligibility, and signing.
14. Registration: Completes mailings and registration day organization.
15. Ad hoc reporting requested by Administration.

17. Perform other responsibilities assigned by the Principal and/or District Administrator.
18. Promote a positive image of the District at all times.
19. Maintain confidentiality of all student records.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities Required) Completion of a standard high school or any equivalent combination of experience and training including or supplemented by business school courses. Thorough knowledge of standard office procedures, open enrollment policies, practices and equipment including mainframe/data processing equipment. Must possess excellent typing skills and be proficient in PowerSchool, Microsoft Word and Excel. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the general public; must possess excellent public relations and telephone skills. Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions. Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Must have the ability to sit for extended periods of time; exhibit manual dexterity to use a telephone, to enter data into a computer; to see and read a computer screen and printed material with or without vision aids; hear and understand speech at normal levels and on the telephone; speak in audible tones so that others may understand clearly in person and on the telephone; ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions; physical agility to lift up to 25 pounds.
