The Oregon School District is seeking a full-time school nurse to join our nursing team and support students district-wide for the 2025-26 school year. Candidates interested in working part-time may also be considered.
This position will primarily focus on serving students at Forest Edge Elementary School and Rome Corners Intermediate School.
- Be comfortable with students of all ages and be able to travel to all buildings in the district.
- Have a firm grasp of school nurse responsibilities including medication management, development of school health plans, health assistant training, classroom instruction on human growth and development, support of students with diabetes.
- Be able to manage health emergencies in a calm manner.
- Have excellent communication skills and an emphasis on equitable health services.
Qualifications preferred:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a university or college school of nursing
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Licensed as a Registered nurse
- Basic Emergency Care Course
- Wisconsin Dept. of Public Instruction (DPI) Nurse
- Collaborative individual with positive and effective communication skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a university or college school of nursing

This position is through the end of the 2025-2026 school year.
