Part Time
The Cedarburg School District seeks highly motivated, energetic individuals with a positive attitude to provide part-time, custodial and/or maintenance support across the District. The nature of these positions requires individuals who are reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently.
Job Objectives: To peform all custodial duties to keep facilities clean and orderly. Provide students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, and clean environment in which to learn, play and develop.
Responsibilities include cleaning classrooms, hallways, offices etc.
Duties include:
• Clean all assigned areas using proper methods and equipment
• Develop good will for the school through a courteous, cheerful and helpful attitude
• Collect and dispose of all waste in proper containers
• Provide building security (lock and unlock as assigned)
• Take care of custodial equipment through proper procedures and usage
• Report supply and equipment needs to supervisor

• Perform custodial duties not limited to: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping desks, clearning restrooms, dusting, removing garbage and recycling
• Perform such other duties as assigned by the Director of Building and Grounds

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to learn about and use material, equipment and methods commonly employed with general custodial duties
• Ability to learn about and use material, equipment and methods commonly employed with general custodial duties
• Demonstrate aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities
• Ability to work/relate with staff, students, public
• Must be capable on a continuous basis of standing, walking, stair climbing, reaching, handling and griping without difficulty
• Must be capable on a frequent basis of bending, stooping, pushing/pulling heavy objects, lifting/carrying objects up to 50 pounds
• Must be capable on an occasional basis of climbing ladders, driving light equipment, and working at heights up to 30 feet
• Must be capable on a continuous basis of standing, walking, stair climbing, reaching, handling and griping without difficulty
• Must be capable on a frequent basis of bending, stooping, pushing/pulling heavy objects, lifting/carrying objects up to 50 pounds
