The Parkview School District is seeking Substitute workers in our Food Service Department. Candidates will assist with the preparation and serving of quality food to students and staff. Maintain positive relationships with administration, students, staff and community. Positions are substituting on a day-to-day (call in) basis. Interested and qualified candidates should include a letter of interest, resume and (3) references.

High School Diploma or GED
Prefer candidate with previous experience with large scale cooking and food preparation/serving
Knowledge of basic math, understanding written and verbal procedures
Ability to follow HACCP procedures and policies
Ability to work alone or with others in a team environment and adapt to change as needed
Must be able to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work with computers - POS systems, menu and nutrition software/production records.
Ability to stand and walk for 4-6 hours.
Ability to bend, twist, reach, lift 30#, kneel and climb.
Ability to withstand extreme hot and cold temperatures.
Able to deal tactfully, effectively and courteously with students, staff and other persons encountered in the course of work
Prefer (but not required) candidate with ServSafe or Good Handler Certificate
**Some assignments require a valid Driver's License
