Full Time
The Greendale School District is seeking applicants for a full-time Information Technology Teacher.  This position teaches 6th, 7th and 8th grade Information Technology at Greendale Middle School. This position qualifies for full-time benefits, including Health Insurance, Dental Insurance, Life Insurance, Long Term Disability and the Wisconsin Retirement System.
 
This position is responsible for teaching the elective Information Technology courses at GMS to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students.  Coursework includes developing productivity tool skills in Google Docs and Google slides, Introduction to Artificial Intelligence, keyboarding and online safety.  Sixth and Seventh graders take Info Tech as part of their electives, and a year-long, every other day elective option is available for 8th grade students.  Eighth grade curriculum dives into the computer science side of technology, learning some coding basics and further instruction on Artificial Intelligence.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Legal requirements for Teacher certification (1-8 certification, Business Education, Computer Science certification, etc.) as established by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction.
Ability to use student-level data to guide instructional decisions.
Strong pedagogical knowledge and content expertise.
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, using standard English grammar and vocabulary.
Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with students, parents, teachers and administrators.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
Demonstrated appreciation and respect for diversity within the school community.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
