Position Details
The Northern Ozaukee School District is seeking a full time High School Business Education Teacher to begin at the start of the 2025-26 school year at Ozaukee High School. Candidates must hold valid WI DPI licensure. It is preferred that applicants have experience in the high school setting. Courses taught can potentially include: Accounting, Web Design/Desktop Publications, Financial Literacy, Intro to Business, Business and Personal Law, Macro and Microeconomics, Entrepreneurship, International Business, and Marketing.
Seeking candidates that have experience/knowledge with:

The use of multiple engagement strategies within a lesson.

Student processing and reflecting on their learning

The use of formative and summative assessments

Growth mindset
-
Essential questioning
-
Standards-based grading
-
The use of Skyward and Google Suite
-
Experience with CTE programming, youth apprenticeships, or work-based learning is a plus.

Knowledge of the Carl Perkins grant is also a plus.
Position Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree

Knowledge with subject area state and national standards

Valid WI DPI License (Business Education #1250)

Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed

Excellent communication, collaboration, listening, relationship building, and problem solving skills

Ability to work effectively with diverse learners, families, and staff
There is also an opportunity to be an Advisor for our Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) club, which would include an additional stipend.
Special consideration will be given to candidates that hold a Masters Degree and their willingess to teach dual credit courses through UW-Oshkosh (CAPP), though not a requirement of this position.
