Position Details
The Gresham School District is seeking a full-time special education teacher for grades K-5 for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of effective strategies and techniques related to students with learning differences. We seek an energetic and creative professional who will be collaborative with team members. NVCI training and experience teaching social skills are a plus.
Qualifications:
~ Experience working with special education students, preferred
~ Knowledge in conducting Individual Educational Plans (IEPs)
~ Experience in crisis prevention and intervention
~ Knowledge in Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) desired
Gresham School District has 287 students in 4K-12.
WI DPI Certification/Licensure of 1801-Cross-Categorical or a combination of 1810-Intellectual Disabilities, 1830-Emotional Behavior Disorders, and 1811- Specific Learning Disabilities. Priority may be given to candidates currently holding or willing to acquire additional licenses.
