Catholic Central High School is seeking a dynamic, energetic coach for our highly successful Varsity Girls Softball program. We are looking for a coach that can bring a vision for continued success in our growing program. This position works collaboratively with our Athletic Director, as well as our partner Catholic grade school programs and coaches. Must have prior high school and/or club coaching experience.
REQUIRED:
The desire and ability to lead and mentor student athletes. Previous playing and/or coaching experience at either the high school or college level. An understanding of fast pitch softball, as well as the ability to plan and run practices. The ability to teach the rules and fundamental skills involved in softball. Ability to help create and implement a program wide plan to help develop these skill sets in all student athletes involved in the program. Good organizational and management skills. Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, parents and community. Willingness to actively attract students to the school and it's softball program Self motivated with the ability to motivate others. PREFERRED: Prior Softball Coaching Experience. Flexible schedule from the the beginning of March through the middle of June.
