The School District of Whitefish Bay is looking for part-time Before and After School Program Assistants (PM). This is a This part-time, non-benefit eligible, non-exempt (hourly) position. This Before and After School Program Assistant (PM) position reports to the Before and After School Program Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provide academic and enrichment assistance to students in grades K4-5th on an individual and group basis.
2. Facilitate and assist the lead with all curriculum and planning for children.
3. Assist in the supervision and management of youth who participate in the Before and After Care Program.
4. Build communication and effective relationships with parents and students.
5. Work well within a team to provide a well-managed and professional program.
6. Ensure a warm and safe environment for youth.
7. Other duties as assigned.

Preferred candidates will have a degree or are pursuing a degree in education or a related field. Experience working with youth ages 4-5 years old in a group or one-on-one setting is a must. Candidates must be a self-starter, flexible to meet the needs of diverse students in a dynamic, fast-paced program, and have excellent communication skills.
