Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Anticipated Hours: 8:00 am - 4 pm
Anticipated Pay Rate:
- Without Teacher License: $17.53
- With SpEd Program Aide License: $18.69
- With Teacher or Speciality License/Certification: $20.72

The Wauwatosa School District (WSD) is seeking candidates interested in serving as an Educational Assistant at McKinley Elementary School. McKinley Elementary School serves approximately 354 students.

The Educational Assistant works with classroom teachers to help achieve instructional benchmarks and behavioral objectives.

Qualifications:
High school diploma
Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
Elementary teaching certification through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (preferred)
Ability to read, comprehend, follow, and give oral and written instructions
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Excellent communication skills
Experience with the needs of a diverse student population (preferred)
Ability to work with technology and online student support programs
Experience working with relevant online learning tools (e.g., Kahn Academy) (preferred)
Insight and understanding of student support programs related to literacy and math (preferred)
