The Norwalk-Ontario-Wilton School District, comprised of N-O-W Elementary and Brookwood Jr. & Sr. High School, located in the beautiful Driftless Region of Southwest Wisconsin, is seeking quality applicants for a K-12 General Music/Choral Music teaching position. Candidates should have strengths in Music Education and the ability to foster individual skills and creativity in the Music classroom setting. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of vocal music, music theory, history, and instrumental music awareness. Candidates should also have the ability to continue building upon the great choral music program our district has while continually encouraging student interest in choral music. Our community and school district value the music programs within our Fine Arts Department and have invested in a new Fine Arts Center as well. A newly renovated music classroom will now be attached to a new 485 seat Fine Arts Center within the school building! Additional School Information: The Norwalk-Ontario-Wilton School District/Brookwood Jr. & Sr. High School is located in southwest Wisconsin and is centrally located in a rural setting between our three communities (Norwalk, Ontario, and Wilton) that make up the school district. Our total school population consists of approximately 600+ students (PreK-12th grade) and 110 staff members all under one roof. Our community is very supportive of the school district, we have incredibly dedicated staff members, and it is a great learning & teaching environment. In April of 2023, the N-O-W community passed a $24.9 million referendum to update facilities, including converting a gymnasium into a Fine Arts Performance Center, updating numerous learning/teaching spaces, and constructing new facilities for athletics.
