Anthony Acres Charter School is a free public charter school proudly authorized by the Mondovi School District. Serving students in grades 6–12, we offer a dynamic, place-based, project-based learning environment with a strong focus on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) and outdoor education. Located just 10 miles south of Eau Claire on a beautiful 34-acre campus of woods, prairie, Rock Creek, open land, chickens, and abundant wildlife, our school is a unique, student-centered space where learning comes to life in nature.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a flexible, enthusiastic, and dedicated High School / Middle School Advisor to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an educator passionate about innovative, experiential learning and outdoor education.

The Advisor will work closely with students to foster academic growth, personal development, and hands-on project work that takes full advantage of our extraordinary outdoor campus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic advising, mentorship, and personal support for middle and/or high school students.
  
  

• Design and facilitate engaging, student-centered learning experiences, including projects and activities integrated with our outdoor environment.
  
  

• Collaborate with students on place-based projects involving our woods, prairie, creek, and school grounds.
  
  

• Support land stewardship and outdoor initiatives, which may include trail maintenance, environmental studies, and animal care.

• Cultivate a positive, inclusive, and collaborative school culture that emphasizes critical thinking, creativity, and social responsibility.

Qualifications:

• Teaching certification in Mathematics, Science or English is preferred but not required.
  
  

• Demonstrated passion for outdoor education and project-based learning.
  
  

• Experience with, or enthusiasm for, hands-on, student-led learning.
  
  

• Flexibility and adaptability within a dynamic charter school setting.
  
  

• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  
  

• Commitment to fostering the growth and well-being of middle and high school students.
