1.0 FTE, Teacher Contract, Starting with the 2025-2026 School Year
Full Time
Secondary counselors work five additional days beyond the standard teacher workdays and are compensated at their daily per diem rate.
 
CERTIFICATION
  • Certified by the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction as a School Counselor (#7054).
WHAT IT TAKES
  • Educational training, understanding of and experience in individual and small group counseling, large group presentations, parenting programs, suicide prevention, and alcohol and drug abuse programs.
  • Ability to effectively relate to students.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working and public relationships.
  • Teaching and/or counseling experience preferred.
