The Kaukauna Area School District is seeking a detail-oriented team player to join the IT Department as its next Database Engineer.
The Database Engineer administers the District’s Student Information System (Infinite Campus), rostering services (Clever), Data Warehouse, and State reporting. In addition, they assist with the organization and success of the IT Department as needed.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, accurate, and detailed, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. They would have experience with the administration of student information systems. Experience with Infinite Campus is a plus, but the ideal candidate could quickly learn what they don’t know.
A model Database Engineer:
Maintains a robust and reliable Student Information System (SIS)
Protects student data in compliance with federal and state laws and district policy
Informs and advises others on issues of security and privacy
Provides information to the Administration in the form of reports and data pulls
Ensures the accuracy and integrity of data for State Reporting
Keeps the SIS up-to-date
Informs staff of changes to the SIS in a timely manner
Work with other staff to ensure the consistency and accuracy of SIS data
Provides and supports Parent Portal accounts
Keeps department inventory up-to-date

Stay current with educational technology and continue professional development
Serve as a positive example to others inside and outside of the district
Salary ranges from $51,989 to $62,236 depending on experience.
Kaukauna is nestled in the heart of Wisconsin's Fox River Valley, between Appleton and Green Bay.
