Position Details
The School District of Lomira is seeking a dynamic, team-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our District Office in a full-time capacity. This position is integral to our operations and supports several key functions that keep our district running smoothly. The preferred candidate will be highly resourceful, independent, and take initiative. The candidate should possess excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, superior organizational skills, and demonstrate proficiency in technology and student and employee management systems. Respect for the confidential and sensitive nature of matters handled by the Superintendent's Office is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors.

Assist parents and the public by responding to information about district records, policies, and procedures.

Manage the District Administrator’s calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.

Coordinates the preparation and assembly of materials, agendas, and packets required for School Board meetings.

Assist in preparing reports, newsletters, and correspondence.

Handle highly sensitive school matters and confidential information with discretion and the highest level of professionalism.

Plans, organizes, prioritizes, and executes complex administrative and/or research projects, communication, and functions as assigned by the District Administrator or Board of Education.

Provide administrative assistance to the District Administrator and Board of Education in conducting the school district's overall operation.

Liaise with local municipal clerks for public elections

Collaborate with district staff and administrators to support office and district functions.

Proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and database systems

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a school or office setting is preferred but not required

Familiarity with school district operations, student data systems, and staff licensing processes is a plus
