Evansville Community School District is a PreK-12 District located in historic Evansville, Wisconsin. ECSD educates approximately 1,650 learners in an elementary, intermediate, middle and high school. The ECSD believes in the equitable distribution of all students in general education environments. To ensure learning barriers are removed for each student, teachers work collaboratively and build each other's capacity to intentionally provide instruction aligned with Universal Design for Learning strategies that reaches each student. The Middle School Science Olympiad Advisor will provide individual and group instruction in preparation for tournament competitions. They will establish performance requirements, enforce academic requirements, and verify each participant's eligibility to participate in Science Olympiad activities in accordance with district policy. Advisor candidates will be expected to have a visible commitment to our students and the ECSD, while exhibiting strong interpersonal and leadership skills. The ECSD is looking for advisors who have a great ability to build relationships with participants and the community. An emphasis will be placed on creating a positive experience for the students and being an ambassador to the entire Science Olympiad program.
