St. Patrick Catholic School in Sparta, Wisconsin is seeking a Principal to lead its Pre-K through 8th-grade parochial school, serving approximately 125 students.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Must be a practicing Catholic living in harmony with Catholic spiritual and moral teachings.
• Have the ability to effectively and efficiently lead staff.
• Have knowledge of current curriculum and standards.
• Possess strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate a Catholic vision of education.
• Be able to lead by example and collaborate closely with the Parish Pastor and the Superintendent of Catholic Schools of the Diocese of La Crosse.
• Must be willing to attend occasional evening meetings.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum of three years of teaching experience.
• Master’s degree in administration.
• Current administrative license from the State of Wisconsin (or the ability to qualify for one).
• Familiarity with the School Choice Program is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily administration of the school.
• Collaborate with the Parish Pastor to enhance the visibility, efficiency, health, and enrollment of the school.
• Play a key leadership role in developing a long-term plan for school growth.
