Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Teacher to join our team. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum that integrate a biblical worldview. - Create a positive classroom environment conducive to learning and spiritual growth. - Assess and evaluate student progress regularly, providing feedback to students and parents. - Foster strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to support student growth and success. - Incorporate classical teaching methodologies that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love of the liberal arts. - Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to support interdisciplinary learning and school initiatives. - Integrate technology effectively into the classroom to enhance learning experiences. - Participate in school events, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities. - Uphold the school’s values and vision, serving as a role model for students in both academic and spiritual matters. Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field. - Active and mature Christian faith, with an understanding and acceptance of the school’s statement of faith. - Experience teaching in a classroom setting, preferably in a Christian or classical school. - Strong knowledge of elementary education principles, methodologies, and child development. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs. - Commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.
