The Elkhorn Area School District is currently accepting applications for a 9th Grade Physical Education Teacher for our 6-week summer school at Elkhorn Area High School from June 9 through July 25. (no classes the week of June 30 - July 4). 

 

Class times will run from 8:00 a.m. – 9:55 a.m.  & 10:00 a.m. - 11:55 a.m.

 

Freshman physical education is a required course for graduation. It covers a variety of activities which include fitness testing, volleyball, swimming, dance, and gymnastics. Written and skills tests are part of all units. Experience teaching swimming is preferred. 

  

This is a temporary teaching position with no expectation of continued employment. There are no benefits associated with this position.

 

Candidates who receive a conditional offer of employment with the Elkhorn Area School District will be subject to a background check, physical and tuberculosis test, and illicit drug screening test.
