Seeds of Health, Inc., a non-profit social service agency, is seeking a full-time special education teacher for the 2025-2026 school year at our Tenor High School Journal Square Campus.

The qualified candidate must currently possess or be able to obtain a Wisconsin DPI license in cross-categorical special education #1801. 

Our Tenor High School - Journal Square Campus is expanding! Come join the staff of the innovative Tenor High School/Milwaukee Area Technical College partnership program which has successfully served Milwaukee students since 2005! The Tenor High School mission is to prepare Milwaukee students for successful entry to post-secondary education and career opportunities through the dual completion of a high school diploma and a Milwaukee Area Technical College program certificate or technical diploma, and/or credits in a post-secondary degree program. Tenor High School - Journal Square Campus, is a small, student-centered environment, defined by positive relationships and a rigorous and engaging curriculum. A passion for working with Milwaukee students and providing enriching opportunities is a commitment shared by all staff.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with students in the heart of Milwaukee and will be committed to ensuring their growth both academically and socially. The candidate must possess a vast array of knowledge and/or experience of learning strategies that support students in meeting their IEP goals. The candidate must have the ability to successfully develop and implement annual IEP goals and adeptly motivate students, establish strong rapport with both students and their families, and collaborate effectively within a professional learning community.  

Seeds of Health, Inc. is a nonprofit social service agency that has operated in Milwaukee since 1983. Seeds of Health is a K-12 district with a total of five schools: Seeds of Health Elementary School (K4-8), Veritas High School, Tenor High School - Journal Square Campus, Tenor High School - Cathedral Square Campus, and Grandview High School.
