Long Term Substitute: Cross Categorical Special Education Teacher - Vacancy ID: 222868

 

We are seeking a long-term substitute teacher for our Cross Categorical Special Education position in our high school. The Special Education Teacher communicates and plans with general education staff in order to provide differentiation, interventions, accommodations, and/or modification in order for special education students to demonstrate success in the general education curriculum to the highest extent possible. This educator will serve as a resource to staff in the areas of academic intervention as well as behavioral support and interventions. This program offers a low student to staff ration and flexible learning environment.

 

Hours:  7:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday during the school year.

 

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree required.
• Certification through the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction as a substitute teacher is required.

 

Terms:  December 2, 2024 - January 17, 2025; may be e3xtended based on program need.
