Lake Mills Middle School is hiring a long-term substitute for our 5th-grade Special Education Teacher, covering from March 2024 through the end of the school year (June 6). This role offers a unique opportunity to support and engage with our students, helping to positively impact their educational journey within the Lake Mills Area School District.   

 

The District serves 1,472 students from the City of Lake Mills and the surrounding area in three schools: Lake Mills Elementary School, Middle School, and High School. Lake Mills Area School District is the highest achieving school district in Jefferson County and has strong academic curricular programs at all levels, as well as excellent music, athletic, drama, and extracurricular programs. We are proud to educate our students in some of the top facilities in the country for environmental construction and design. Our elementary school is LEED Platinum certified and was built as a house concept which allows our staff to foster a sense of community and togetherness throughout the school day.

Lake Mills is ideally located in south-central Wisconsin near Interstate Hwy 94, fifty miles west of Milwaukee and twenty-five miles east of Madison, Wisconsin.
