The School District of Spring Valley is seeking a Head Coach for High School Softball for the spring of 2025.

The ideal candidate will have a background in sports coaching and a commitment to educating and developing student athletes. This role involves fostering a positive team environment, enhancing players' skills, and promoting the values of teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Develop and implement practice plans that focus on skill development, teamwork, and game strategies.

- Conduct training sessions that educate players on the fundamentals of softball, including batting, pitching, fielding, and base running.

- Organize and oversee team activities, including practices, games, and tournaments.

- Provide constructive feedback to players to help them improve their performance.

- Foster a positive team culture that encourages participation and personal growth among all athletes.

- Maintain open communication with players and their families regarding progress and expectations.

- Ensure the safety of all participants during practices and games by adhering to safety protocols.

- Hold a current CPR and first aid certification, or be able to complete the CPR and first aid training.
