Marshall Public Schools is a 4K-12 rural school district located east of Madison and home to over 900 incredible students. We are looking for dedicated people to add to our substitute pool for the 2024-25 school year. We offer a wide variety of substitute positions within our district.
Substitute teachers must hold a current teaching certification from the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction (DPI). Applicants who do not hold a current DPI license are welcome to apply to this job posting with the intent of obtaining a DPI Three-Year Short-Term license.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must possess the ability to work effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and the general public.
- Must be able to carry out responsibilities in a satisfactory manner.
- Follow a plan of study which is consistent with the curriculum adopted by the school district.
- Follows written plans for each day's lessons.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work would be primarily performed in a classroom environment, which typically includes moderate noise from students and computers. Work would occasionally performed outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
