Position Details
Westosha Central is seeking a girls softball head coach for the 2025 season. We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership qualities, a positive upbeat attitude, a love for the game of softball and a desire to work with student-athletes.
Coaching experience and knowledge of the game is required, as well as strong communication and organizational skills. Coaches should be able to manage a quality staff, manage program operations and collaborate with the Westosha Central Athletic Department. Successful coaches will adhere to all Westosha Central, Southern Lakes Conference and WIAA rules/regulations.
The Westosha Central School District is located in southeastern Wisconsin and in Kenosha County. It is approximately 10 miles west of Kenosha. The District currently serves approximately 1,300 high school students.

A successful candidate for this position:

Must have previous softball coaching experience

Able to communicate clearly, effectively and respectfully with student-athletes, and their families

Build a quality coaching staff who successfully works together

Ability to scout opponents and develop/implement specific game plans

Cooperatively work with other Westosha Central coaching staffs

Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations of all student/athletes

Interacts positively with students, staff, parents, competitors, officials and fans

Upon being hired, complete all WIAA and district certification requirements. This includes First Aid/CPR/AED training

Help facilitate the development of a Westosha Central girls softball feeder program

Enthusiasm and commitment to Westosha Central High School
