Are you someone who is passionate about working with middle school students, athletics, school spirit and cheerleanding? The Northland Pines School District is looking for a passionate person who will help grow middle school aged students passion for cheerleading and school spirit. This is a Fall activity and would require time in August, September and October for the season. Our student-athletes look forward to having you join our Pines Family!
The MS cheer coach will:
- Work with the Activities Director, Activities Secretary, & High School cheerleading coach.
- Will work with the High School Cheer coach to support and develop a successful cheerleading program.
- Be responsible for attendance, inventories and ordering supplies.
- Will work with student council, coaches, and advisors to instill school spirit and pride at NPSD events.
- Be a positive role model for student athletes, parents and the community.
- Work with the Youth Football & Cheerleading Booster Organization in fundraising efforts.
Applicant must:
1. Possess leadership skills along with a prior knowledge and experience in coaching.
2. Have the ability to work cooperatively with administration, parents and student-athletes.
3. Possess basic knowledge for coaching/instructing fundamentals, safety and drills.
4. Have basic knowledge of organizing and developing practice plans and schedules.
5. Be energetic and have an attitude to foster a positive program environment.
