Are you someone who is passionate about working with middle school students, coaching and Volleyeball? The Northland Pines School District is looking for a passionate person who will help grow middle school aged students passion for volleyeball and athletics. This is a Fall activity and would require time in August, September and October for the season. Our student-athletes look forward to having you join our Pines Family!
The MS volleyball coach will:
- Be responsible for all matters relating to the organization and administration of team under his/her direction;
- Effectively communicate with players and parents
- Work collaboratively with the high school coaches to promote and support program vision
- Plan all practice sessions
- Ensure proper supervision of locker rooms, bus, etc.
- Work with the Activities Director and Athletic Trainer to ensure player safety
Applicant must:
1. Possess leadership skills along with a prior knowledge and experience in coaching.
2. Have the ability to work cooperatively with administration, parents and student-athletes.
3. Possess basic knowledge for coaching/instructing fundamentals, safety and drills.
4. Have basic knowledge of organizing and developing practice plans and schedules.
5. Be energetic and have an attitude to foster a positive program environment.
