Part Time
The Ashwaubenon School District is seeking an individual for the half time, school year position
(9 month) of Educational Associate - Library Aide, effective with the beginning of the 2024-2025
school year. Individual will be working with students in grades K-5 at Pioneer Elementary School.
Hours are 4 hours/day, 7:45-11:45 a.m., Monday through Friday.
Library Aides will provide assistance to students and teachers in a school library media center
and provide clerical and computer-related duties to support library/school functions.
Physical Demands: The library aide must be able to crouch, stoop, bend, stand, lift, and read
fine print as necessary to perform library duties.
Additional:
-Assist in coordinating events such as book fairs and planning activities that encourage and motivate
students to read.
- Provide book talks to groups of students.
- Assist in proctoring online assessments as needed.
- Prepare, receive and process orders and materials.
- Assist with circulation of library materials and equipment and follow the procedures in place
for tracking circulation.
- Help students and staff use online catalog and access databases, software and other technology.
- Assist with projects to maintain the records and organization of the library materials and online catalog.

11. High School degree minimum required AND 1) completed testing to demonstrate knowledge
of and ability to assist students in reading, writing and mathematics; 2) completed two years of
study at an institution of higher education (at least 48 semester hours of coursework); OR 3) have
obtained an associate's (or higher) degree.
