Lakeview Elementary is looking for a full-time school counselor.  The candidate for this position will serve as both the counselor/social worker for the school.

Lakeview Elementary School is located about six miles south of Whitewater in a beautiful rural setting. With about 200 students, Lakeview houses 4-year-old kindergarten through 5th grade as well as the district’s Early Childhood. The amazing students, dedicated staff, and involved parents create a family feel among the school community that is unique to a smaller rural school. It is our priority to meet the needs of every child, every day in an inclusive and unified way. Whitewater is a vibrant, diverse community with a growing population of multilingual families. Preference will be given to candidates who are multilingual.

Whitewater Unified School District has elements of rural and suburban communities. The City of Whitewater has a population of approximately 14,500. Whitewater is located in southern Wisconsin, approximately 45 miles west of Milwaukee, 45 miles east of Madison, and 100 miles northwest of Chicago. The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, with an enrollment of over 10,500 students, offers residents a variety of cultural and educational opportunities.
