The Paris J1 School District is seeking a Superintendent / Principal, who will demonstrate the ability to build relationships and trust across the district with teachers, support staff, school board members, parents, and community stakeholders.  The successful candidate will also have knowledge of the best practices in education, provide educational, instructional, and fiscal leadership, while also being able to network successfully with others in the educational field.  

Required Qualifications:  

Hold or be eligible for a Wisconsin Superintendent License- Director of Special Education licensure is a plus

Successful school leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

Knowledge of the opportunities and challenges of a rural school district

The skillset to take on multiple administrative positions within the district

Successful experience as a Superintendent 

Knowledgeable in the school referendum process

Experience in teacher evaluations 

Ability to create and sustain a positive school culture
