Hartford Jt. 1 School District (HJT1) is looking for a full-time Cross-Categorical Special Education Teacher to begin the 2024-2025 school year. The teacher should be motivated and have a desire to make a positive impact on students while keeping a focus on academic success and help students achieve their fullest potential.

Requirements:
- Wisconsin DPI license in Cross-Categorical Special Education (1801) for grades K-8

Qualified applicants should have/preferred to have:
- Experience providing instruction to students of all abilities
- Understanding of the IEP process, including writing and implementation
- Ability to supervise students in a variety of school-related settings
- Strong background in progress monitoring
- Ability to develop strong interpersonal collegial relationships and the ability to work with regular ed teachers and support staff in resource/inclusion settings
- Ability to communicate with parents on a regular basis and as needed
- Second language a plus
- Non-violent crisis intervention training or willing to be trained
