The Shorewood School District is seeking a Head Varsity Football Coach for the 2024-25 school year.
Essential Duties:
- Instruct students on the sport's rules, regulations, equipment, and techniques.
- Organize and lead daily practices
- Determine strategies for games and tournaments
- Supervise athletes during practices and games and ensure their safety
- Supervise assistant coaches and delegate responsibilities as appropriate
- Organize and participate in an end of the season information and evaluation sessions with all assistant coaches
- Participate in pre and post-season meetings with the Athletics Director and or Woodland Conference
- Oversee all levels of the football program

Qualifications:
-Must meet the head coaching requirements of SSD and WIAA.
-Strong Leadership Skills
-Knowledge of the sport of football
-Ability to work effectively with groups and individuals
-Ability to analyze problems and make decisions
-CPR, AED & First Aid Certified
-Other football coaching certifications (preferred)
-Previous coaching experience at the high school or college level
-Must meet the head coaching requirements of SSD and WIAA.
