The Wausau School District is seeking an Administrative Assistant at Stettin to support the Principal in administering a smooth and efficient operation of the school for the advancement of student learning, achievement, and success. This is a full-time position and qualifies for health insurance, dental insurance, life insurance, short term and long term disability, paid sick leave, personal leave, and retirement through the Wisconsin Retirement System. Education/Experience: * High school diploma or equivalent required * Associates Degree or equivalent administrative assistant experience in an office environment desired Performance Requirements: * Strong interpersonal skills * Ability to interact in a professional and confidential manner with administrators, teachers, support staff, students, parents and community members * Must be dependable and self-directed * Ability to problem solve and be flexible to quickly changing situations * Ability to multi-task, and use effective time management and organizational skills * Strong grammar, spelling, and composition skills * Well-developed computer skills with a knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher software. Knowledge of Infinite Campus software desired. * Ability to complete detail-oriented tasks with accuracy
