On-Call Substitute Teachers, all schools - $175 a day The School District of West De Pere is seeking qualified individuals for the position of Substitute Teacher. The School District of West De Pere requires you to hold a bachelor’s degree or an associate’s degree with completion of the CESA Substitute Teacher Preparatory Program and a Wisconsin DPI Substitute or Educator License to substitute teach at West De Pere. If you have applied to the DPI for your license, we will accept a copy of this application/proof of payment for your license until the DPI gets you the official copy. For those individuals who hold an associate's or bachelor's degree and are interested in obtaining a substitute license, CESA 7 can assist you with that licensure. West De Pere will be using Red Rover as our automated substitute caller system. We will try to schedule substitutes in advance, but sometimes it is unavoidable and Red Rover will notify you of any substitute positions for that day. There are no insurance benefits for these positions and no guarantee of how many hours you will be asked to work. Wisconsin DPI has issued new rules to provide greater flexibility in meeting educator licensing requirements: A district may only employ an individual as a short-term substitute teacher if the individual has one of the following: (1) a Wisconsin issued teaching, pupil services or administrator license, (2) a substitute teacher license issued under Section PI 34.23(1), or (3) a substitute teacher permit issued under Section PI 34.24. As in the past, a short-term substitute teacher may be employed to teach any subject at any grade level.
