The School District of Waukesha is seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Speech and Language Pathologist. This individual will primarily work with students across the district (PreK-12) who are provided services within preschool and private schools located within the District's boundary. This position is responsible for evaluation and providing services for students who exhibit difficulties in the areas of language, speech, voice and/or fluency. This is a 60% position that will be designated as follows: Preschool Options (Evaluations, Case Management, Travel) at 20%, and Private Schools (Private School Evaluations, Service Plan Case Management and Service Delivery, Travel) at 40%. Responsibilities Include: - Providing evaluation services to assist the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team in identifying the presence of a disability and providing evidence of need for speech language therapy for preschool students. - Providing evaluation services to assist in the development and servicing of private school Service Plans for qualifying students in private schools. - Choosing appropriate therapy materials to meet the needs, age and interests of individual students. - Traveling to sites to provide services.
