Responsibilities of the ideal candidate include:
• Create and implement workouts/drills and run daily practice for the sports specific group.
• Participate in team meetings, coaches’ meetings, events, contests, and daily practices.
Qualifications for the ideal candidate include:
• Be a certified teacher or meet WIAA CNLT requirements. Or become certified within one year of hire.
• First Aid/CPR/AED/Concussion Certified. Or become certified within one year of hire.
• Write the WIAA rules exam for the sports specific group.
• View the WIAA sports specific video meeting.
• Be an advocate of the Everest Strength & Conditioning program.
• Have a belief that sportsmanship is critical to the success of any program.
• Be knowledgeable in sports specific fundamentals.
• Being student and team focused.
• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively communication will all stakeholders.
• Have leadership skills.
• Have organizational skills.
• Some weekends may be required.
