The Mount Horeb Area School District, located just 15 minutes west of Madison, Wisconsin, is now accepting applications for a 1.0 FTE, full year Resource Development and Public Relations Coordinator. This selected candidate serves as a champion of our District’s vision, mission, and strategic goals through the development of supplemental revenue streams, marketing, and communications which strengthen confidence in the Mount Horeb Area School District. They are able to effectively articulate the District’s message in a manner that inspires others to act in service to the community.

This is a Senior Level Leadership position in the superintendent's cabinet.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, journalism, marketing, media relations, public relations, or related field.
Three or more years of results-driven experience in resource development, public relations, and marketing.
Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, and interpersonal) and professional presentation.
Advanced acumen in multi-media skills for professional messaging with branding and marketing to a broad audience (including, but not limited to, graphics design, photography, publication/print software, video-production, website and social media utilization/analytics).
Experience working with the public media is preferred.
Superior evidence of analytical, critical thinking, and judgment skills.
Exceptional initiative and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while continuing to meet deadlines.
Knowledge of public education, Mount Horeb Area School District and the Mount Horeb area are preferred.
