The Frederic School District is seeking an innovative, student centered, full time Middle School English Teacher beginning with the 2023-24 school year. Ideal candidates will be passionate about the content area and student learning. Successful candidates will possess the following: -Desire and ability to create learning opportunities aligned to learning standards. -Understanding and skills in classroom management. -Strong technology skills that result in a high functioning learning environment. -Ability to teach real-world application of social emotional learning. -Experience with RtI (Response to Intervention). -Understanding of standards based learning. -Knowledge of reading development. -Ability to adapt lessons based on student needs. -Desire and ability to work in a Professional Learning Community. -Strong communication skills. -Passion for learning, growing, and exploring. Qualifications: DPI Certification is desired, but non-certified applicants are welcome to apply. The District is prepared to assist a quality candidate in attaining a pathway to licensure. Additional teaching licenses and experiences are considered assets to applicants. Co-curricular, coaching, and student organization leadership opportunities are available.
