The Argyle School District seeks an energetic educational leader with a proven record of administrative accomplishments to serve as the District Administrator beginning July 1, 2023. The successful candidate should have a strong comprehension of the Wisconsin school finance model, budget, and curriculum development. The candidate should have a thorough understanding of the Educator Effectiveness model, State Standards, and Response to Intervention systems. Essential responsibilities and qualifications include, but are not limited to: managing the District's annual budget; implementing board policy; having a comprehensive understanding of both Federal and State school law; communicate frequently, and transparently, with internal and external school and school-community stakeholders; networking with community/business partners; seeking out grant opportunities; leading school referendum campaigns; support staff development and retention. As the District Administrator, you will build relationships and establish trust with teachers, students, paraprofessionals, administrators, school board members, parents, and community members. Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to positively communicate with all stakeholders is a must. Visible at school and community events and a willingness to be involved in the greater district community desired. Successful administrative experience is preferred. Consideration will be provided to all licensed candidates, or those with current administrative experience who are in the process of attaining their Wisconsin school superintendent license (DPI # 5003). The District's annual operational budget is approximately $5 million employing 32 professional teachers, and 18 support staff that Positively Affect the Lives of Children. The School District of Argyle is located in southwestern Wisconsin and is located in one building serving 290 students in grades 4K-12.
