The Waterloo School District is seeking a dynamic middle and high school math teacher starting the 2023-2024 school year who has a passion for teaching and learning.. This position will provide high quality instructional services and support to students in middle and high school and is tentatively scheduled to work with students in grade 7-9. Candidates should possess a growth mindset to contribute to a positive school climate and culture; strong interpersonal communication skills to establish rapport with students, staff, parents and the community; and strong classroom management and creative problem-solving skills. Candidates must be familiar with culturally relevant teaching practices. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in CPM math curriculum.
