Lourdes Academy of Oshkosh Catholic School of Oshkosh, WI seeks a full time 4th grade teacher to begin in August, 2022. The school is committed to providing a traditional education in a faith filled environment. The incumbent in this position will partner with parents, teachers and administration to foster and promote student learning and moral development through the Green Bay Catholic Diocese curriculum. The instructor will teach an enriched fourth grade level elementary academic program covering Religion and all curriculum subject areas except Physical Education, Art, and Music. The ideal fourth grade teacher is a highly-qualified childhood educator. This candidate will have strong leadership skills, is an excellent communicator and can motivate and inspire children in a positive manner. Preference may be given to a practicing Catholic. Applicant must: • Be able to support, affirm, and uphold, by word or example, the teachings of the Catholic Church • Hold a bachelor's degree or better from an accredited college or university • Hold a valid Wisconsin Teacher License (Elementary Education) • A strong understanding of Catholic traditions and beliefs with a passion and commitment for a faith-filled education • Be able to clearly communicate orally and in writing • Have a passion and commitment for a faith-filled education • An understanding of Catholic traditions and beliefs Upon employment offer, be able to pass criminal background check and attend Virtus Protecting God’s Children program
