Role and Responsibilities The Kettle Moraine School District seeks a part time School Counselor for Magee Elementary to lead and assist in providing a comprehensive counseling program that supports students in their academic, career and social/emotional development. A successful candidate for this position is an excellent communicator and collaborator, is an active participant on the school's leadership and problem-solving teams, and is able to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff. Required Education, Experience and Credentials -Master’s degree required -Must possess or be eligible for WI Certification #7054 School Counselor -Experience as an Elementary Counselor preferred -Knowledge of ASCA national model and ASCA Mindsets and Behavior student competencies -Must demonstrate an understanding of, and commitment to, personalized learning -Knowledge and strong connections to mental health resources and social service providers. -Experience in trauma-sensitive practices and school-wide implementation -Excellent writing and computer literacy skills -Demonstrated leadership skills and capabilities
