The Ripon Area School District is seeking qualified candidates for a full-time special education teacher assistant/aide to join our team in serving students at Ripon Middle/High School beginning with the 2022-23 school year. The position would primarily be working with students and teachers in Special Education in grades 6-12 in the Intellectual Disability classroom, including students with more severe cognitive and physical needs. The position is approximately 35 hours per week during the school year when children are present. The Ripon Area School District serves over 1600 students, Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade, in traditional schools, charter schools, and a virtual school. Qualified candidates will hold (or be able to obtain) a Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction Special Education Program Aide License and demonstrate the following: Develop and deliver high-quality education for students based on individual needs Ability to work collaboratively and communicate well with all staff and students Attention to details and timeliness Ability to collect, use and monitor student data Ability to be flexible, organized, team player and advocate for students You will join an excellent, collaborative team of experienced, supportive Special Education teachers and therapists.
