Duties of the Position: The Sparta Area School District is seeking an innovative and energetic teacher to join High Point Charter School. High Point is a project-based learning environment that serves 7-12th grade students located within Sparta High School. We are searching for an individual who is able to work well as a team member with one other teacher and one half-time special education teacher. Primarily, the successful candidate will be one who is eager to be creative and flexible, able to implement technology, and someone looking for the challenge of working in a non-traditional setting. The preferred candidate will ideally be licensed or be willing to obtain licensure in the subject area of Mathematics (#1400), Broadfield Social Studies (#1701), and/or Broadfield Science (#1601), but we will consider any quality candidate.
