The School District of West Salem is right next door to La Crosse in the beautiful Coulee Region of Western Wisconsin. Our 3 buildings are within walking distance of each other on an approximate 100-acre campus on the edge of town. Students in grades 4-12 are issued MacBooks or iPads as part of its 1:1 digital learning environment. The ability to integrate technology in the development of daily lessons that engage students is desired. Having a passion for teaching and for providing an exciting, meaningful, and rewarding experience for students is a must! The district is looking for a Math Teacher for our 9-12 high school to "Serve with passion to ignite creativity, innovation, and excellence." Applicants should be energetic, creative and innovative and willing to provide their students with a 21st Century experience in the classroom and beyond. Applicants must be able to qualify for a Wisconsin DPI license to teach Math (#1400) for grades 9-12. The addition of a Computer Science (#1405) is desired) Three letters of recommendation are preferred. Coaching and other co-curricular activity positions may become available at any time.
