This is a full time/permanent position with a 200 day contract. WI DPI license #1077 or #1088 is required. Candidate should be passionate about preparing high school students to be successful in the future. Candidate will join a strong, dynamic team of dedicated professional educators focused on continuous improvement. Minority and bilingual speaking candidates are encouraged to apply. The STEM Instructional Coach serves as part of the Leadership team that supports teachers and administrators within the school to design and deliver high quality curriculum using evidence-based practices and to ensure that students’ learning experiences are engaging and rigorous. The STEM Instructional Coach dialogues with teachers within the STEM content areas (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) about their instructional practices and planning in order to further each individual teacher’s development. He or she works as a colleague with classroom teachers to support student learning through regularly scheduled classroom observation and feedback sessions, support of curriculum and lesson design, planning and delivery of professional development. The STEM Instructional Coach promotes student engagement and collaboration by connecting the dots among instructional best practices, learning environment and tools for student-centered learning experiences.
