Business Middle/High School Teaching Position - Remote - Vacancy ID: 271243

Job Goal: Cooperative Educational Service Agency 10 (CESA 10) is seeking a part-time Middle/High School Teacher. This position will be remote from a home office. The teacher will be responsible for teaching classes synchronously to one or more districts via videoconferencing.

Employment Status: This is a part-time, school-year position.

Compensation and Benefits: Compensation is negotiable. Benefits are as defined in the CESA 10 Employee Handbook.

Position Qualifications:

1.        Education, Training, Experience:

a.       Bachelor’s degree and a valid Wisconsin Educator License in Business Education, Grades 5-12 or Grades 7-12

b.      Three years of experience and proficiency in technology are preferred

c.       Possess a valid driver's license

2.      Related Skills:

a.       Proficiency in utilizing videoconferencing and educational technology equipment

b.      Proficiency in Google Workspace

c.       Excellent verbal and written communication skills

d.      Ability to build effective relationships

e.      Occasional travel to schools to meet with students

Performance Responsibilities:

1.        Teach business courses synchronously to one or more school districts via videoconferencing.

2.      Plan and deliver curriculum using instructional best practices.

3.      Utilize formative and summative assessments to inform instruction and monitor student progress.

4.      Leverage online tools/resources for classroom workflow.

5.      Proactively communicate student progress with students and district staff.

6.      Perform other duties as assigned.
