Position Details
- Provide guidance, safety, and quality care for school age students at specific schools for before/after school program.
- Provide leadership, support, and serve as a role model to students at school sites.
- Assist in the development of curriculum, program development, and facilitation of the school age program.
- Follow the daily schedule in accordance with the program and state licensing guidelines.
- Maintain positive relationships with students, parents, and other staff members.
- Answer parent concerns or make appropriate referral to Adventure Care Supervisor in a positive manner.
- Participate in and assist with the planning of family events at schools occasionally.
- Attend monthly staff meetings/trainings to comply with continuing education policies.
- Assist in care for non-school days scheduled through Adventure Care (Vacation Fun Days).
- Assist with planning and carrying out a daily program in accordance with the State of Wisconsin Licensing Regulations.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- This is a school year position.
- Hours will vary between 6:15 am – 8:30 am (Before Care) and 3:15 pm – 6:00 pm (After Care).
- Up to 25 hours per week (5 hours per day, 5 days per week).
- Flexibility to work Before Care, After Care, or both.
- $13.00 - $15.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
- There are no benefits offered with this position.

Screening will begin after three days, and candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
This position is funded by the Greenheck Turner Community Center Fund 80.
- Must be at least 17 years of age.
- Must be willing to complete Early Childhood courses or work on Early Childhood courses.
- Possess and demonstrate ability to interact with children on an ongoing positive basis at the child’s level.
- Must possess current adult/child CPR with AED, or complete within six (6) months of hire date.
