JOB GOAL
To enhance the program and provide clerical support and data entry. Update and maintain all accurate records for students and grant information. This person will also assist with programming, create outreach relationships, and provide childcare. The ideal candidate has data entry skills and has an interest in enhancing the childcare program while maintaining a positive environment for children. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO
  • Provides safe care of school age students at before and after school site.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records for grant reporting.
  • Create programing and generate new ideas for program learning at site, age-appropriate learning, and event planning.  
  • Maintain accurate records and update reports in accordance with the 21st Century Grant and YoungStar guidelines.
  • Organize special events, student projects, and learning.
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
WORK SCHEDULE
  • This is a school year position.
  • Part-time, up to 28 hours per week.
  • Flexible schedule, weekday mornings (preferred) and afternoons.
WHAT YOU’LL RECEIVE
  • $17.00 per hour.
  • Free Greenheck Turner Community Center fitness center membership.
  • There are no benefits offered with this position.

Screening will begin after three days, and candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
WHAT IT TAKES
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must possess current adult/child CPR with AED, or complete within six (6) months of hire date.
  • Must be willing to complete the Introduction to the Child Care Professional (ECI) and Skills and Strategies for Child Care Teacher (ECII) or must be willing to complete Early Childhood courses within three (3) months of hire.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication.
  • Strong knowledge of basic computer programs such as Excel and Word.
  • Patience and good listening skills.
  • Professional decision-making skills and the ability to take direction from the site coordinator.
