This is for the 26/27 School year.

All substitute Teachers are required to have a valid teaching credential or a Wisconsin 3 year substitute teacher permit. To qualify for a 3 year substitute teacher permit, an applicant must have earned a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and be hired by a district. Successful completion of the Substitute Training Workshop offered by the District. 
It is the responsibility of the substitute to ensure that all credentials are current.

Position Purpose: You will be placed daily in a unfilled assignment. At times, there will be longer term placements and placement as a support staff member, such as en educational assistant 

Job involves instruction, supervision and training of individuals or groups of students with a wide variety of needs in a regular and/or special education setting. Job activities include instruction of students in a variety of education environments including classrooms, learning centers, vocational programs, the community and/or other institutional facilities.

Substitute carries out the absent teacher’s prepared lesson plans.
 
Note: During a prolonged absence, the substitute is responsible for performing all essential functions identified in absent teacher’s job description.
